Mercedes-Benz Service
in Dubai
Mercedes-Benz is one of the most common premium badges on UAE roads, and many owners move from the dealer to an independent workshop once the warranty or service contract ends. We service the A-Class, C-Class, E-Class and S-Class, the GLA, GLC, GLE, GLS and G-Class, and AMG models, following the Service A and Service B pattern the car asks for.
When is your Mercedes-Benz service due?
Mercedes cars use the ASSYST service indicator, which shows whether Service A or Service B is due and counts down in days and kilometres. Service A is the smaller oil service; Service B adds filters, brake fluid and a wider inspection. Some items, such as spark plugs and automatic gearbox oil, have intervals of their own. We check the history first and reset ASSYST after the work.
Mercedes-Benz minor service
- Engine oil with the MB 229 approval your engine needs, with a new filter
- ASSYST reset to the service that was done
- Tyre condition and pressures, including the spare or the repair kit
- Brake pad and disc wear
- Fluid levels and a look for leaks
- Diagnostic scan of the engine, gearbox and suspension modules
Mercedes-Benz major service
- Everything in Service A
- Cabin dust filter, and the charcoal filter on cars that have one
- Brake fluid change (Mercedes sets it every two years)
- Engine air filter when due
- Spark plugs at the interval for your engine
- Automatic gearbox oil and filter when due
Exact items depend on your model, engine and mileage. The written quote lists each one, with the parts you choose: OEM, aftermarket or used.
What we check on a Mercedes-Benz
Airmatic air suspension
On cars with air suspension we check that the car sits level after standing, listen to the compressor and look for cracked bellows. A leak caught early protects the compressor.
7G-Tronic and 9G-Tronic gearboxes
We note how the gearbox shifts and read its stored faults. Harsh shifts or a limp-mode history is the reason to plan a gearbox oil service or a conductor plate check.
Oil seeping from the camshaft magnets
Some four-cylinder and V6 engines seep oil from the camshaft adjuster magnets into the wiring. We look under the engine cover at every service.
Engine and gearbox mounts
Heat ages the rubber in the mounts, and worn ones show as a vibration at idle in Drive. We check them with the car on the lift.
Servicing in UAE heat
UAE heat shortens the life of a Mercedes battery, and the car's electronics react badly to low voltage, so we test the battery at every service. Dust clogs the cabin and engine air filters, and summer traffic keeps the cooling system and the AC at full load, so we check the coolant, the radiator and condenser, and the AC output before the hot months.
Dealer warranty
Under UAE consumer protection rules, servicing your Mercedes outside the dealer does not by itself void the manufacturer warranty, provided the service follows the Mercedes schedule with parts and oil of the right specification and is documented. Our written job record lists the oil approval and the parts used. Cars with an active dealer service contract usually stay with the dealer until it ends.
How it works
- 1
Book and we collect
Book online or on WhatsApp. Our driver collects your Mercedes-Benz from your home or office in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman.
- 2
Quote before work
We check what the car is due for and send an itemised quote on WhatsApp. Nothing is done until you approve it.
- 3
Serviced and returned
We carry out the service, reset the reminder, and deliver the car back with a written job record.
Mercedes-Benz service: questions
What is the difference between Service A and Service B?
Service A is the oil service with safety checks. Service B adds the cabin filter, brake fluid and a wider inspection. The ASSYST display in the car tells you which one is due.
Can you reset the ASSYST service light?
Yes. We reset it with the diagnostic tool once the work for that service is done, so the next reminder is correct.
Do you service AMG models?
Yes. AMG engines need their own oil approval and, on many models, a larger oil capacity and specific spark plugs. The written quote lists each item and the parts you chose.
Which oil do you use?
Oil carrying the MB 229 approval your engine requires, for example 229.5 or 229.51 on many engines; newer engines can need 229.71. The approval is printed on your quote.
