When is your Mazda service due?

A Mazda shows a maintenance reminder at the interval set for your market, and the maintenance monitor in the settings can also remind you of tyre rotations and other items. Each service alternates between an oil service and a fuller inspection. We check the history and reset the monitor after the work.

Mazda minor service

  • Engine oil of the grade for your engine, usually low-viscosity on Skyactiv-G engines, with a new filter
  • Maintenance monitor reset
  • Tyre rotation and pressures
  • Brake pads and discs
  • Fluid levels and a look for leaks
  • Diagnostic scan

Mazda major service

  • Everything in the oil service
  • Cabin filter and engine air filter
  • Brake fluid change when due
  • Spark plugs at the interval for your engine
  • Rear differential and transfer fluid on AWD models when due
  • Cooling system inspection

Exact items depend on your model, engine and mileage. The written quote lists each one, with the parts you choose: OEM, aftermarket or used.

What we check on a Mazda

i-stop battery

Cars with i-stop need a battery made for start-stop. A standard battery fails early and i-stop stops working, so we test it and fit the right type when it needs changing.

Oil grade

Skyactiv-G engines are designed for low-viscosity oil, and the wrong grade affects fuel use and the variable valve timing. We use the grade in the handbook.

AC and cabin airflow

Weak airflow from the vents is usually a blocked cabin filter. We change it at the major service, and sooner if you drive in dusty areas.

Brake callipers

Slide pins dry out in the heat, which makes pads wear unevenly. We check them during the brake inspection.

Servicing in UAE heat

Summer heat is hard on the battery, especially on cars with i-stop, and on the AC. We test both, clean sand from the condenser and check the coolant before the summer. Cars parked outdoors also need their wiper blades and rubber seals checked, because the sun hardens them, and fine dust gets into the cabin filter faster than the schedule expects. If you drive the CX-5 or CX-9 on desert roads, we check the air filter and the underbody afterwards.

Dealer warranty

Under UAE consumer protection rules, servicing outside the dealer does not by itself void the Mazda manufacturer warranty, as long as the schedule is followed with the right oil and parts and the work is recorded. We give a written job record for every service.

How it works

  1. 1

    Book and we collect

Book online or on WhatsApp. Our driver collects your Mazda from your home or office in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman.

  2. 2

    Quote before work

We check what the car is due for and send an itemised quote on WhatsApp. Nothing is done until you approve it.

  3. 3

    Serviced and returned

We carry out the service, reset the reminder, and deliver the car back with a written job record.

Mazda service: questions

Why has i-stop stopped working on my Mazda?

Most often the battery is weak or is not the start-stop type. We test it first. Other causes include a high AC load or the engine not being fully warm.

Which oil does my Mazda need?

Most Skyactiv-G petrol engines use 0W-20, but the handbook has the final word, and we use that grade.

Do you service the CX-9 turbo?

Yes. The 2.5 turbo needs the oil changed on time and the intercooler pipes and coolant checked in summer.

Do you reset the maintenance monitor?

Yes, after the service, and we can set the tyre rotation reminder for you too.
