Panel Painting Service
Painting a single panel is mostly an exercise in matching. The new paint has to look identical to its neighbours in daylight, in shade and under garage lights, and that takes colour mixing and blending rather than just a spray gun. Choosing a reliable painter matters more than the price per panel, because a mismatch is visible every day for the life of the car.

How we do panel painting service
- 1
Identify the colour
We read the paint code from the vehicle plate and compare it with the panel next to the repair in sunlight. Metallics and pearls vary from batch to batch, so a test spray card is made.
- 2
Prepare the panel
Old paint is scuffed or stripped, plastic parts are treated with an adhesion promoter, and new panels are primed and flatted.
- 3
Spray and blend
Colour is applied to the panel and faded out into the adjoining area. Clear coat covers the whole of the panel to a natural edge.
- 4
Cure, polish and fit
The panel is baked, polished, and refitted with its trim. We check gaps, alignment and the feel of the surface before handover.
Signs it is time
- A new bumper or fender that arrived in primer or black plastic
- A door or bonnet damaged by a collision and repaired but not yet painted
- Previously painted panels that no longer match the rest of the car
- Peeling lacquer on one panel while the others are still fine
- Rust through the bottom of a door or the edge of a bonnet
What usually causes it
Accident repairs and replaced parts
A new panel is supplied unpainted. It must be sprayed in the car's colour, and the adjoining panels usually need a light blend so the transition disappears.
Failed earlier paint on one area
A single panel can fail alone if it was repainted with poor preparation or a different clear coat from the rest of the car.
Ageing of the surrounding paint
Even a perfect match to the factory code will look new beside sun-aged panels, so the colour sometimes has to be tuned to the car as it is today.
In Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman
Silver, white and champagne are the common colours on Gulf roads, and they hide a sloppy match less than you would think, particularly pearl whites with several layers. Plastic bumpers expand a lot in the heat, so flexible paint additives and proper curing matter, because rigid paint on a bumper will crack at the first hot parking session.
Questions about panel painting service
Can you paint only one door?
Yes, with a blend into the adjoining panel where the colour needs it. We explain in the quote which neighbours are included.
Do you supply the replacement panel?
We can. You choose between OEM, aftermarket and used panels, and the price and difference are written on the quote.
How long before I can wash the car?
Avoid brushes and high-pressure jets for a few weeks, and wait on waxing until the paint has fully hardened. We give specific timing at handover.
Why does a bumper cost differently from a door?
Bumpers need more preparation and flexible materials, and often come with sensors and trims that are removed and refitted.
Can you paint a panel that has sensors on it?
Yes. Parking sensors and cameras are removed and refitted, and we check they still work. Painting over a sensor face would affect it, so they are masked or taken off.
What if the car has a three-layer pearl paint?
These take more time because the base, pearl and clear layers must be sprayed in a set sequence. We say so in the quote and test a card first to approve the shade.
