Mobile Car Inspection
A mobile inspection means the check happens where the car is: at the seller's villa, a dealership forecourt or a public car park. You do not move the car or take time off to drive it to a workshop, and the seller does not have to hand over keys.

How we do mobile car inspection
- 1
Book online with the location
Tell us the make, model, year, the car's exact location and a time the seller agrees to. We confirm the plan and the price in writing.
- 2
Technician arrives with the tools
We bring a diagnostic scanner, inspection lights and the checklist for your plan. The check works anywhere with room to open the bonnet and walk round the car.
- 3
Inspection and road test
The checks follow the plan you chose. Where the seller allows it, the technician or you drives the car on a short test route so gear changes, brakes and steering can be assessed.
- 4
Report the same day
You receive a written report shortly after, so you can decide on the spot or continue negotiating with the seller while the findings are fresh.
Why get a mobile car inspection
- The seller will not let the car leave their premises before payment
- You live in Sharjah or Ajman and the car is in Dubai, or the other way round
- You are comparing several cars in one weekend and need quick answers on each
- You are buying a car for someone else, or from abroad, and cannot attend yourself
- The car cannot legally be driven, for instance with expired registration
- You do not want a long garage visit to put the seller off
What usually causes it
Practical limits on test drives
Many sellers will not accept an unknown driver taking their car away. A technician at the car solves that and the check still goes ahead.
Buyers who work long hours
A booking for an evening or weekend slot at the car fits around a job. Waiting for a garage opening often costs the deal.
Distance between buyer and seller
Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman traffic means a garage trip can eat half a day. Coming to the car removes that.
Need for an impartial view
At a dealership the salesman may be present throughout. An outside technician with a checklist keeps the conversation about the car.
In Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman
Showrooms on Sheikh Zayed Road, villas in Mirdif and car parks in Sharjah are all places we are asked to attend. Midday summer heat limits what is comfortable, so we suggest early morning or evening, and shade or a covered car park where possible.
Questions about mobile car inspection
What do I need to prepare?
Ask the seller to have the car accessible, with the keys, registration card and service records ready. A clear spot with room to open doors and the bonnet is enough.
Do I have to be there?
No, though you are welcome. If you can not attend, the seller just needs to give us access, and we send the report to you.
What if the seller cancels?
Tell us as soon as you know. We can reschedule at a time agreed with the seller, and we confirm timing changes with you rather than turning up unannounced.
Can the inspection happen in a dealership?
Yes. Dealerships are used to independent inspectors. We ask for the same access as a private seller would give, and report our findings only to you.
How soon can someone come?
It depends on the day and the area. Book as early as you can and we confirm a time slot with you in writing, so the seller can be told when to expect us.
