How we do supercar pre-purchase inspection
- 1
Arrange access
Supercars often sit in showrooms or private garages. Give us the location and a contact, and we arrange a suitable time with the seller.
- 2
History and bodywork
We review the service records you have, then check paint, panels, glass and wheels for accident repair and kerb damage.
- 3
Mechanical check and scan
We inspect fluids, leaks, brakes, tyres and the underbody, and scan the modules our equipment supports on that model.

Honest advice
Your report says what we found and what we could not check. For some models we will advise a further check at a marque specialist, and say why.
Why inspect a supercar before buying
- The car has very low mileage and you want to know how it was stored
- The seller says major services were done but the invoices are missing
- The car is wrapped or covered in paint protection film
- The price is noticeably below similar cars in the market
- You are buying from abroad or from a broker you have not met
- The car has aftermarket exhausts, wheels or software
What usually causes it
Missed major services
Supercars have expensive scheduled work, such as cam belt services on some older Ferrari V8s. Missing it can be very costly, so we compare service records with age and mileage.
Gearbox and clutch wear
Single-clutch automated gearboxes on older Ferraris and Lamborghinis wear their clutch faster than a normal car. Where our tools support the model, we read stored gearbox data and faults.
Hidden bodywork under film and wraps
Wraps and protection film can hide repaired panels and resprays. We check panel gaps, edges and the areas film does not cover for signs of repair.
Underbody and front-lift damage
Low cars scrape on ramps and speed bumps. We look at splitters, underbody panels, radiators and any front-lift system for damage and leaks.
By make and model
Ferrari
Service history, belt or chain service records on older V8s, clutch wear on F1 gearbox cars and accident history are the key checks.
Lamborghini and McLaren
We focus on gearbox and clutch condition, hydraulic and front-lift systems, underbody damage and bodywork under film.
In Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman
In Dubai, supercars are often driven very little and stored for long periods, then sold quickly between owners and brokers. Low mileage is not always good news: seals dry out, tyres age and batteries suffer. An independent check gives you a clear view before a big decision.
Questions about supercar pre-purchase inspection
Can you inspect a supercar in a private garage or showroom?
Yes. We come to the car anywhere in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman, with the seller's permission.
Will you road-test a supercar?
Only if the seller agrees and the car is insured and registered. Many sellers prefer a static inspection, and we check as much as possible without a drive.
Do you replace a dealer inspection?
Not always. We give an independent view, and for some models we will say a dealer or marque specialist check is also worth doing.
Is the report confidential?
Yes. The report is yours and we do not share it with the seller unless you ask us to.
What should I ask the seller for before the inspection?
Ask for the registration card, all service invoices, records of any paint or bodywork, and the date the tyres and battery were last replaced. Having these at the inspection lets us compare the paperwork with what we see on the car.
