Full Vinyl Car Wrap
A full vinyl wrap covers every painted panel in a printed or coloured film. It changes the look of the car without repainting, and it protects the original paint underneath. We take the car in, remove trim where needed, wrap each panel and finish the edges so the wrap looks like paint.

How we do full vinyl car wrap
- 1
Design and film selection
We go through finish and colour options with samples, then agree which parts of the car are wrapped, including door jambs if you want a colour change that looks complete.
- 2
Strip and prepare
Handles, badges, lights and mirrors are removed where practical, the paint is washed and decontaminated, and any loose or damaged paint is dealt with before film goes on.
- 3
Wrap panel by panel
Each panel is wrapped from one piece where the size allows, with the film heated to follow curves and tucked around edges. Seams are placed where they are least visible.
- 4
Trim, post-heat and check
Edges are trimmed, the film is post-heated so it holds its shape in recesses, and parts are refitted. We check each panel in daylight and hand the car back with aftercare advice.
Why wrap your car
- You want a new look without committing to a repaint
- Faded or tired paint, and a budget for a cosmetic change only
- A lease or a car you plan to sell, where you want to keep the paint original
- A matte, satin, metallic or carbon finish that paint cannot offer easily
- A business car that needs a clean, consistent colour or lettering
- A previous wrap that is peeling, fading or lifting at the edges
What usually causes it
Choice of finish
Vinyl comes in gloss, satin, matte, metallic, brushed and carbon finishes. Some are very forgiving to fit, and some, such as matte and satin, show every fingerprint, so we help you choose one that suits how you use the car.
Condition of the paint under the film
Vinyl lies on the paint and shows what is below. Rust, flaking clear coat or poor repair paint can lift under the film, so these are dealt with first or the wrap will fail early.
Complex shapes and deep recesses
Bumpers, mirrors and door handles have deep curves. Good fitting means heating and stretching the film carefully, and removing the part where possible instead of forcing the film into a gap.
Heat and sun on the film
Film is a layer that sits in direct sun. It will age faster on the roof and bonnet than on the sides, and a car parked outdoors all year will not keep a wrap as long as one kept in shade.
In Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman
Strong sun, heat and sand are hard on vinyl, so the film you choose and the way the car is parked matter more here than in cooler countries. Shaded parking, regular gentle washing by hand and avoiding abrasive brushes will do more for the life of a wrap than any single product choice.
Questions about full vinyl car wrap
How long does a wrap last?
It depends on the film, how the car is kept and the sun it sees. We will not promise a number. A car kept in shade and washed by hand will keep a wrap in good condition for longer than one left in the sun.
Will a wrap damage my paint?
On sound factory paint, a wrap fitted and removed carefully should not. Repainted panels or paint with poor adhesion can lift when the film comes off, which is why we inspect before fitting.
Do I have to register a colour change?
If you change the main colour of the car, the new colour has to be recorded with the licensing authority. See our colour change wrap page for how this works, and check the current process with the authority.
How do I wash a wrapped car?
By hand, with a soft mitt and pH-neutral shampoo. Avoid brush car washes and high-pressure jets aimed at the edges. Matte and satin films need products meant for them, and we explain this at handover.
