Interior Deep Cleaning & Leather Treatment

Interior deep cleaning goes well beyond a vacuum. Seats, carpets, door cards and the headlining are cleaned with brushes and an extractor, and leather is cleaned and then conditioned. It is the job for coffee spills, child-seat marks, pet hair and the general grime that builds up over a year or two.

How we do interior deep cleaning & leather treatment

  1. 1

    Test and agree the plan

We check each material and test the cleaner on a hidden spot. Delicate leathers, suede and Alcantara are treated differently from standard fabric and vinyl.

  2. 2

    Dry clean first

Everything is vacuumed and agitated with soft brushes, including seat rails, door pockets and the boot. Compressed air lifts dust from vents and switch gaps.

  3. 3

    Wet clean and extract

Fabric seats, carpets and mats are cleaned with a fabric cleaner and an extractor that pulls out the dirty water. Stains are treated one by one, and some old marks may only lighten.

  4. 4

    Leather clean and condition

Leather is cleaned with a pH-suitable cleaner and a soft brush, wiped dry and then conditioned. The aim is a clean, even, natural finish without a greasy shine.

Why get a deep interior clean

  • Dark patches on fabric seats where drinks, food or sweat have soaked in
  • Leather that feels dry or tight, shows fine cracks or has lost its soft finish
  • Dirty shiny patches on the driver's side bolster and steering wheel
  • Carpets stained and gritty even after repeated vacuuming
  • Pet hair woven into the fabric of the seats and boot liner
  • A musty or sour smell when the air conditioning starts

What usually causes it

Spills drawn into the foam

Liquid sinks through the seat cover into the foam, so surface wiping removes only part of it. Extractor cleaning draws the moisture and dirt back out.

Body oils and sunscreen on leather

Skin oils, creams and sweat darken leather and break down its protective coating. Where the coating is gone, dirt gets into the grain and the leather dries out faster.

Sun and dryness

UV and cabin heat draw the moisture from leather. A conditioner restores some suppleness, but deep cracks and flaking need a repair, not just treatment.

Damp and trapped dust

Wet carpets, condensation and dust that settles in the vents create smells. The source has to be cleaned and dried, because perfume only covers it.

In Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman

Dust gets into every gap of a car parked outdoors, and hot cabins dry leather quickly. Sun shades and a regular wipe-down help, and a yearly conditioning keeps leather from tightening. Fabric needs time to dry, so a shaded or covered spot makes a difference to the finished result.

Questions about interior deep cleaning & leather treatment

Can this be done at my home or office?

Yes, in most cases. We need a shaded or covered spot and access to the cabin. Heavily soiled or very damp interiors may be better handled in the workshop, and we say so when you book.

Will stains definitely come out?

Most do, but not all. Old dye transfer, ink or sun-bleached areas may only fade. We tell you what to expect after testing and before work starts.

How long before I can use the car?

Leather is ready at once. Fabric and carpets are damp after extraction, so we leave the windows or doors open and advise how long to wait before closing everything up.

Does leather conditioner fix cracks?

It softens dry leather and improves the look, but it cannot fill cracks. Damaged panels need the repair work described on our seat and upholstery repair page.

How often should leather be treated?

Two or three times a year is a sensible habit for cars parked in the sun, with a light wipe in between. Products and frequency depend on the leather type.
