Accident Car Recovery
After an accident the car may still start but not be safe to drive: a bent wheel, a leaking radiator or a broken headlight at night are all reasons to leave it. Once the police report is done, we collect the car on a flatbed and take it to our workshop, where we assess the damage and send a written repair quote.
- Recovery fee confirmed before dispatch; repair quoted in writing after inspection
- Same day collection in most cases once the police report is issued
- Pickup and delivery from your door
- Convenience fee applicable · shown on your written quote
- Diagnosis free with repair
When an accident car should not be driven
- A wheel that points the wrong way or rubs on the bodywork
- Coolant, oil or fuel dripping under the front of the car
- Airbags that have gone off, or an airbag warning on the dash
- Lights, mirrors or a bumper hanging loose after the impact
- Steering that pulls hard or a car that will not go straight
- The car has been taken to a police or impound yard after the accident
What usually causes it
Hidden suspension and steering damage
A kerb strike or a side impact can bend a control arm, a tie rod or a wheel hub without leaving much to see. The car may feel almost normal at low speed and then wander or shake once it reaches highway speed.
Cooling system damage in a front impact
The radiator and condenser sit just behind the front bumper, so even a low-speed hit can crack them. Driving with a coolant leak overheats the engine within a few kilometres, adding an engine repair to the bodywork bill.
Lights and visibility
A car missing a headlight or a tail light is not legal to drive at night and is hard for others to see. A smashed mirror or windscreen can also block the view you need to change lanes.
Airbag deployment
Once an airbag has fired, the car needs new airbag modules and often a new crash sensor and seat belt pretensioner. Driving with a blown airbag and the warning lit leaves you without protection if there is a second impact.
How we do accident car recovery
- 1
Report the accident first
In Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman a garage cannot repair accident damage without a police report. If no one is hurt, move to a safe spot and report through the police app or by calling the police. We help you find the report number if needed.
- 2
Book the recovery
Send us your location, the report number and photos of the damage. We confirm the recovery fee before the truck leaves, and we can collect from the roadside, your home or a police yard once it has released the car.
- 3
Collect on a flatbed
A damaged car is loaded with care: loose panels are taped, and a wheel that will not roll goes on a skate. The driver photographs the car at pickup so the damage is recorded before it moves.

Assess and quote the repair
At the workshop we inspect the body, the frame, the suspension and the cooling system, then send a written quote. If you are claiming on insurance, we send the insurer the photos and quote they ask for.
In Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman
Most collisions here are rear-end shunts in slow traffic on roads such as Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Ittihad Road and Emirates Road. Minor accidents with no injuries should be moved out of the traffic lane, and the police app can register them without waiting for a patrol. For serious damage or injuries, call 999 first and leave the car where it is until the police say it can be moved.
Questions about accident car recovery
Can you collect my car before the police report is done?
We can move it off the road if the police have asked for that, but the repair cannot start until the report exists. Keep the report number and send it to us when you book.
Does my insurer have to approve the recovery?
Some policies only pay for recovery by their own provider. Check your policy or call the insurer first. If they do not cover it, we quote the fee before we send the truck.
Can you collect from a police yard?
Yes, once the yard has released the car. The owner usually has to settle any fees and sign the release, and we bring the documents and collect the car after that.
Will you fix the accident damage too?
Yes, at our workshop. We send a written quote with the parts you can choose between, and the collision repair starts only after you approve it.
Should I remove my belongings first?
Take valuables, documents and child seats with you if you can. The driver lists anything left in the car on the pickup record.
