Ceramic Coating
A ceramic coating is a liquid, silica-based layer that bonds to the paint and cures into a thin, hard, hydrophobic shell. It does not make paint scratch-proof, but it gives the surface a slick, easy-to-clean skin that resists contamination, water spotting and UV better than wax.

How we do ceramic coating
- 1
Decontaminate the paint
The car is washed, then treated with an iron remover and clay to lift embedded contamination. A coating locks in whatever is under it, so the surface must be clean.
- 2
Correct the paint first
Any swirls or marks are polished out before coating, because they will be sealed in otherwise. The extent of polishing is agreed with you in advance.
- 3
Panel wipe and apply
The surface is wiped with a solvent to remove polishing oils, and the coating is applied in small sections, levelled and wiped off at the right moment.
- 4
Cure and aftercare
The coating cures in a dry, dust-free space, and we give you the washing guidance for the first days. Maintenance washes with a neutral shampoo keep it working.
Why get a ceramic coating
- You are tired of washing the car every few days to keep the dust off it
- New car, or newly polished paint, that you want to protect from the beginning
- Wax or sealant that disappears within weeks in the summer heat
- Water that clings and dries as spots instead of beading
- Dark paint that shows every swirl and mark
- A car you plan to keep for years and want to keep looking good
What usually causes it
UV and heat on bare clear coat
The sun slowly oxidises the clear coat. A coating adds a sacrificial layer on top, taking some of the exposure the paint would otherwise take.
Contaminants bonding to the surface
Dust, bird droppings and water minerals stick strongly to bare paint. A slick coated surface releases them more easily, so washing is faster and gentler.
Wash-induced swirls
Each wash is a chance to scratch. Because dirt does not cling to a coating, there is less rubbing needed, and the finish stays cleaner for longer.
Short-lived traditional protection
Natural waxes soften and melt in high heat. A cured ceramic layer is far more heat-resistant and stays in place through summer.
In Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman
Heat, intense sun and fine dust make the UAE a hard place for any paint protection. A coating with proper preparation is more suited to the Gulf than a wax, but it is still maintenance, not magic: cars parked in direct sun still need regular washing and an occasional maintenance treatment.
Questions about ceramic coating
Will a ceramic coating stop scratches?
No. It adds a little hardness and slickness, but a key scratch or a stone chip will still mark the paint. Any seller claiming otherwise is overselling.
How long does a coating last?
That varies with the product, the preparation and how the car is cared for. We tell you what to expect for the specific product we propose, and do not promise a figure we cannot back.
Can I wash the car right after?
Wait for the curing period we give you before washing. Water, soap and parking under trees in that window can spoil the coating.
Is it worth it on an older car?
Yes, after polishing, because it protects the improved finish. If the clear coat is peeling, the paint should be fixed first, as a coating cannot hold on failing lacquer.
