Ceramic & Nano Ceramic Window Tinting

Ceramic tint uses microscopic ceramic particles instead of dye or metal. Nano ceramic is a marketing name for the same family, with finer particles. Both aim to block more heat and UV without needing a dark shade, so you can stay legal and still feel the difference.

How we do ceramic & nano ceramic window tinting

  1. 1

    Explain the options

We describe the ranges of ceramic film available and how they differ in clarity, reflectivity and price, and recommend a shade within the legal limit.

  2. 2

    Prepare and template

Each window is cleaned, measured and cut. Curved glass is shrunk to shape on the outside before film goes inside.

  3. 3

    Install clean

The film is applied in a dust-controlled bay and squeegeed flat. Ceramic films are thicker and need more careful edge work than dyed film.

  4. 4

    Final inspection

We check each window against the light for gaps, creases and contamination, and show you before handover.

Why choose ceramic tint

  • A previous film made the car dark but the cabin still got hot
  • Metallic film interfered with phone signal, GPS or toll tag reading
  • You want strong heat control but a lighter, legal-looking shade
  • The windows look hazy or mirrored at some angles
  • Existing dyed tint has started to fade and turn purple

What usually causes it

Dyed film mostly absorbs light, not heat

A cheap dyed film looks dark because it absorbs visible light, but it passes a lot of infrared, which is what you feel as heat on your arm and legs.

Metallic layers interfere with signals

Metal-based films reflect heat well, but they can weaken radio, phone and GPS reception. Ceramic does not conduct, so it avoids that problem.

Visible shade and heat rejection are different things

A clear ceramic film can reject more infrared than a dark dyed one. Darkness is not a measure of how well it blocks heat.

In Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman

Our summers can push the interior of a parked car far above the outside temperature, and ceramic film is popular here because it lets you keep a lighter shade that stays inside the limit set by current UAE traffic rules. It is worth asking about the claims behind any brochure number: heat rejection figures depend on how they are measured, and we explain what a figure means before you pay extra for it. Note that car washes using harsh brushes or strong solvents inside the cabin can mark film, so ask any detailer to keep sprays away from the inner glass edges.

Questions about ceramic & nano ceramic window tinting

Is ceramic worth the extra over dyed film?

If you park outdoors or drive in midday sun, usually yes, because the heat difference is noticeable. For a garaged car used mostly at night, the gain is smaller.

Is nano ceramic different from ceramic?

The terms overlap. Nano ceramic generally refers to a film with very fine ceramic particles. We explain what the specific film we offer actually contains, rather than lean on the name.

Will it affect my toll tag or phone signal?

Ceramic film is non-metallic, so it should not block signals the way some metal films can.

How long does ceramic film last?

A quality film should last years without fading, if it is installed well and cleaned with the right products. Avoid ammonia-based glass cleaners.

Can I tint only the front two windows in ceramic?

Yes, many owners start there because the driver and passenger sit closest to the glass. We can add the rear windows later, but the shade should match, so we note the film used on your quote.

How do I clean ceramic-tinted glass?

Use a soft microfibre cloth with a plain, ammonia-free glass cleaner, and avoid scraping anything across the inside surface for the first weeks.
